Support platform for care leavers
Dozens of residential care homes accepted Plataforma PAJE’s invitation to celebrate Care Day, running various activities with the children and young people in care. This initiative inspired the different homes and brought smiles to the boys and girls.
One of Plataforma PAJE’s main aims in marking Care Day is to call for positive discrimination in favour of children and young people who were deprived of growing up with their own family. The day received wide coverage from various media outlets, such as RTP, CNN, Rádio Renascença, Antena 1 and Diário de Notícias, among many others.
