Support platform for care leavers
As this was an unprecedented initiative in Portugal, the “1st Meeting of Residential Care Home Carers” (I Encontro de Cuidadores de Casas de Acolhimento), under the motto “We Are All Educators – the role and importance of the various occupations”, was attended by hundreds of carers from Homes all over the country.
Helping to disseminate good practice and improve the “leaving-care profile” of young people in Residential Care, this event took place at ISCAC – Coimbra Business School.
