Support platform for care leavers
Hip Hip… HOORAY!!!
After years of attempts that sometimes ran up against “your target group (care leavers) is not a recognised category” or “come back when you’ve grown”, we made our own way, and it was in fact national-level officials who suggested that we become an IPSS (private social solidarity institution), as that would be the only way for them to support us in the innovative projects we had been putting into practice.
We are officially an IPSS and a Pessoa Coletiva de Utilidade Pública (public-benefit organisation), which is a great honour for us, but also gives us even more responsibility as we chart a path that is steadily becoming more firmly established.
