Escolas SITI

The “Escolas SITI” project – Escolas Sensibilizadas para a Importância dos Traumas na Infância (Schools Aware of the Importance of Childhood Trauma) – promoted by PAJE, aims to raise awareness in the school community of the immediate and lifelong consequences of adverse childhood experiences (as well as highlighting the role of the school and its staff – as a body with responsibility for matters of childhood and youth – in its interaction with the child protection system for children and young people at risk). In the pilot phase, five school clusters and one non-clustered school from the Centro region will take part.
