Support platform for care leavers
The player who won Euro 2016 for Portugal is the patron of PAJE – Support Platform for Young Care Leavers, a non-profit association that supports young people with a history of residential care and which is marking its first anniversary with various activities to raise awareness of its work and to raise funds. Éder, who was also in care during his childhood, supports PAJE, of which he is member number 100.
